GTA was founded by Burl C. Adkins in March of 1988 as a premiere provider of professional and technical talent in Metro Detroit. Over the years, we have become a national provider of high-level contract and direct resources to top manufacturing OEM’s as well as a large number of tiered suppliers.
On June 25, 2018 We started on our own adventure as the new owners of Global Technology Associates, LTD so we are now an excited and a highly motivated minority / women owned entity, targeting industry diversification with laser focus upon the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, IT, Government and Healthcare sectors. Lofty goal, yes, but given GTA’s past successes and reinvigoration we are confident that we will continue to rise to the occasion.

Welcome to the GTA Professional Staffing and thank you for your visiting our website today. We are excited to announce we are now under new ownership. In June of 2018, Denise Everett and Ron Peace, long time GTA Management Team members, acquired GTA from our founder, Burl C. Adkins.
Following the acquisition of GTA, we were awarded both Minority Certification through the NMSDC as well as Women-Owned Certification through the WBENC. Additionally, we are also WOSB Certified through the SBA. These certifications not only assist our current clients with their diversity spend initiatives but also position GTA for diverse growth into other industries.
Since our founding on March 5, 1988, our team at GTA has worked tirelessly to serve the needs of our candidates and our customers with a focus upon honesty, integrity and good old fashioned hard work, which continues as our core values and our commitment to each candidate and client. Our list of core customers includes some of the top domestic and Asian manufacturing OEMs as well as some of the world’s top suppliers. We serve their needs from our HQ in Dearborn, Michigan and supply them with targeted candidates to meet their needs across North America.
